GL Integrated Solutions attended a meeting with CFE Distribution and Transmission, the State Secretary of Economy, the Energy Commissioner , and other heads of various business organizations, where the state's electricity shortage problem was discussed. CFE mentioned its investment in seven strategic projects in the state , which will total 199 MVA, including the González Ortega transformer, the T2 transformer in Tijuana, and two 20 MVA substation transformers in San Luis, among others.

CFE currently plans to begin operations of the combined-cycle plant in Valle de Puebla, to supply approximately 1,200 MW to the state. This is expected by late 2025 or early 2026. Agreements have been made to hold a second call for proposals at the municipal level to identify future projects and the demand capacity of each for CFE's planning.

The vice president of the Ensenada Business Coordinating Council expressed deep concern about the power shortage in the San Quintín Valley, which is affecting the region's economic development and, crucially, discouraging investment.
